Micro Weddings at CYCE

Did you know that Charlevoix Yacht Club Events offers Micro Weddings? We have a special package with reduced pricing for weddings smaller than 50 people.

The package comes with the same conveniences as our larger weddings but offers some unique features.The Micro Wedding package includes:

·      Rehearsal day before event.

·      14-hour rental from 9am; early set up and late clean up can be arranged based on availability.

·      Set up and breakdown of ceremony and reception. No clean up required by the guest. 

·      An adjacent lawn for outdoor ceremonies that has the marina as a backdrop

·      Covered porch as an alternative to the lawn in case of inclement weather.

·      White resin garden chairs for the ceremony

·      Various types of tables for your reception including, 60” round tables, 30" pub/cocktail tables and 8’x30” banquet folding tables.

·      2 mobile mahogany bars

·      White Chiavari style chairs

·      White full length white table linens

·      Given that your event is smaller it gives you more flexibility on the layout. For example, you can have your reception entirely on our covered porch.

·      A separate building (just across the street) to use as your bridal suite the day of the wedding. 

·      An onsite venue representative who is available throughout the day to ensure everything goes well.

·      Sonos sound system with speakers inside and on the porch.

·      Microphones that work with the A/V system. 

·      A catering kitchen for your vendor to use to prepare your food. Kitchen includes ice freezer, large commercial refrigerator and a commercial dish washer. 

·      Various vases, votive holders and easels available for you to use.

·      Plain gold arch/backdrop

·      Dance floor available at additional fee

Price of this special package is $5,000 year round and available Sunday through Thursday.

In addition, CYCE staff will work with you throughout the planning process to help guide you to the most appropriate food, beverage, and other vendors to ensure you are getting the best options for your budget. 

We do not have a “Beverage Package”. We allow our customers to source their own beverages and hire certified bartenders to serve your alcohol. This gives you more control over what beverages you serve and to save significant money by sourcing directly, not through a venue.

This is important because other venues have both a venue fee and a mandatory beverage package. Sometimes the Beverage Package can be equal to or more than the venue fee.
